Benjamin Biggs, a seasoned sales and marketing veteran who has been National Accounts Manager, OEM Specialist, and District Sales Manager for a number of other manufacturing companies, joined Circa Telecom in 2005. He is in charge of the company’s primary protection division based here in Tampa, Florida. His responsibilities have included development and implementation of the division’s strategic business plan, management of the direct sales force and representatives, corporate advertising, new product launches, marketing and sales of all new and existing products and product promotions. Since joining Circa, Benjamin has reorganized the sales force, revitalized customer relations, revamped inventory control and even refined packaging of the company’s products – resulting in significant sales increases for the division, even during a challenging economy.

A New Orleans native and graduate of the University of Louisiana with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Benjamin is a firm believer in the adage that “if you strive to be the best, you will achieve the best” and in leading by example. He begins each day focused on improving life (and sales), using his caffeinated charisma, technological savvy and sales and service acumen to keep Circa well ahead of the pack so Circa customers keep coming back for more.

Mark Stephenson joined Circa Telecom in 2002 as Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast. After four years honing his sales skills and industry and product knowledge, resulting in some of Circa’s most notable sales successes, he was also put in charge of the CirPlus department which focused on reselling excess materials from large telecom jobs, where he was equally successful. This led to his appointment as Sales Manager, and responsibility for reorganizing the company’s sales force, hiring and training new staff, as well as helping to develop new products such as our new Tele-Mod Tester. Mark is also developing Circa’s international efforts outside the Western Hemisphere, particularly the EU and is a member of the project committee.

One of those rare breeds, a true Florida native, Mark attended the University of South Florida where he studied philosophy and spent 14 years in the audio visual industry before joining Circa. During this time, he built the graphics system for the jumbo-tron used at the Orlando Magic’s stadium and the video editing system used to produce the Jack Hannah Show. He and his immediate family are all vegetarians, which may be the key to his incredible energy level, enthusiasm and drive, all of which make Mark an inspiration to his sales team.

Kristina Simi helped develop the Circa Central sales tool working with Circa Telecom as a consultant. This experience provided her with an extraordinary in-depth knowledge of the company, its products and customers, and also gave her the chance to demonstrate her unique ability to manage a whole host of intricate details bringing this complex project, and others, in on a timely and professional basis.

As the company continued to grow, and to expand its products, services, marketing and IT initiatives, her value and her workload increased as well, to the point that it only made sense for her to work with Circa on a full-time basis. In the newly created position of Project Coordinator, and as a member of the company’s project committee, Kristina will be an integral part of the company’s marketing strategies, new product releases and continued enhancements to its sophisticated IT resources. A graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College, she received her Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting and has owned her own programming firm designing IT applications for a wide range of clients.
